We process your sample and deliver it to the lab right away. Your results will go to your doctor. Many tests can be done within two days—some specialized tests take longer. Check with your doctor's office if you haven't heard back.

We'll confirm all specimen and special-processing requirements before the appointment. Then, we come to you with all supplies, and complete your draw with care.

Email, call, or fill out the questionaire letting us know a few of your preferred appointment dates and times, your doctor's order, and a copy of your ID and insurance information or card.
Service Area
PrimeVein provides professional mobile phlebotomy services throughout the Bay Area. Our experienced phlebotomists come directly to your home, office, or preferred location, making lab testing more convenient and comfortable.
Appointments beyond our standard coverage area are available for an additional $49 travel fee.

Do I need a doctor's order?
Yes, we require a valid lab requisition from your healthcare provider to perform any blood collection services.
How long does a visit take?
Most visits are completed within 10 to 20 minutes. If you have small, deep, or unstable veins, more time may be needed.
Where do my results go?
We deliver your samples to the laboratory designated by your doctor. Your results will be sent directly to your healthcare provider.
Are your services mobile?
Absolutely. We meeting you at your home, office, or any location that matches your comfort and schedule.
What areas do you serve?
We serve the Bay Area within 25 miles of South San Francisco. Locations beyond will require a $50 travel fee.
How do I get started?
Fill out the questionnaire on our website, then email us your lab requisition — or have your doctor's office send it directly — along with a copy of your ID and insurance card. We'll reach back out to schedule your visit.
What do I need to provide?
A lab requisition (from you or your doctor's office), a copy of your photo ID, and a copy of your insurance card.
How far in advance should I schedule?
We usually schedule as early as two days out, and we can often accommodate sooner when our calendar
allows.
Do you offer appointment windows?
No, we show up conveniently on time and on your schedule.
Do you handle specialty kits?
Yes. We work with all kits, including Galleri, Vibrant America, Cleveland HeartLab, Boston Heart, and more. Your doctor orders the kit, which comes with all the tubes, shipping supplies, and ice packs. We then arrive, use the kit to complete your collection, and ship your samples out immediately.
What happens to my blood after the draw?
Each specimen is processed to its specific requirements — including centrifuging, transferring, and proper storage temperatures — then delivered to the lab your order was sent from.
Which labs do you deliver to?
We deliver to the originating lab on your order, including Quest, LabCorp, Sutter, Kaiser, Stanford, and others.
How do I get my results?
Once your sample reaches the lab, your results go to your ordering doctor. Some tests come back the same day; specialized tests or kits can take longer, sometimes up to four weeks.
Why choose PrimeVein over going to a lab or another at-home service?
You skip the waiting rooms and lines at LabCorp and Quest, and avoid the inconvenient time windows common with at-home services like Getlabs. We come to you, on your schedule, in the comfort of your own home.
What if I haven't heard back about my results?

I'm Erick, founder of PrimeVein.
Before transitioning into healthcare, I graduated from the SFSU School of Cinema and worked behind the camera as a corporate and commercial cinematographer. That work taught me two things that still drive me every day: precision and human connection. A good shot demands absolute attention to detail, and a good story demands you actually see the person in front of you.
Driven by a desire to make a more direct, personal impact, I pivoted into medicine—building my expertise as a Lab Assistant, Phlebotomist, and Forensic Blood Technician, collecting blood in court-ordered forensic draws involving often combative subjects.
This range of experience has given me deep empathy and specialized skill working with everyone from high-profile clients and celebrities to vulnerable populations—including patients with autism, dementia, and advanced physical conditions like ALS. Whether I'm navigating an intense forensic environment or providing gentle bedside care, my commitment is always the same: strict protocol, safety, and absolute accuracy.
I started PrimeVein because getting your blood drawn shouldn't involve long lines or stressful lab visits. It should happen on your schedule, right in the comfort of your own home. I specialize in a calm, careful draw—especially for difficult sticks, complex medical needs, anxious patients, or fainters. Letting someone into your home and into your care takes trust.
